Brambles Barn

  • Llangrove, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire
  • Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms
  • Accessibility - V1, H2, M1
  • Can link with Cider Cottage or Valley View

This former byre (cow shed) has wonderful views from the bedrooms and a full height mezzanine.

It has a wealth of oak beams along with solid wood floors and has retained the original 'A' frame.

The oak fully glazed screens have skilfully replaced the original barn doors allowing the countryside in.

The two bedrooms each have an en-suite with W.C, washbasin and shower.

A ground floor cloakroom is designed to accommodate wheelchairs, which is ideal if guests rent both Brambles Barn and the adjoining fully accessible Valley View.

There is an open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen and ample dining space for 8 people.

"We had an enjoyable stay in this well equipped and comfortable cottage.
Our highlight was the walk from Symond's Yat East, over the footbridge and riverside paths to Symond's Yat West.
Followed bay a climb the top of the Yat Rock. despite the mixed weather we visited Goodrich Castle, The Cyril hart Arboretumin the Forest of Dean, Monmouth, Hay on Wye .
We ate out a lot , all ok , but the best was The Den near Hereford , Also a good meal at The Tandoori in Whitchurch, and The Royal Arms in LLangrove, dished out typical pub grubbing huge portions The Old Court in Symonds Yat West was also good.

We LOVED our stay in Brambles Barn. The glass front, with the upstairs inner balcony provided stunning views from the warmth and comfort of the stylish yet characterful interior. Solid furniture, state of the art kitchen appliances, wonderfully comfortable beds... it couldn't have been better. Lovely welcome basket on arrival and a very friendly and helpful family, ensured that everything was just right for a perfect stay.
