Thatch Close Cottages - Quality Holiday Accommodation

Pets, Assistance Dogs, Guide Dogs, Hearing Dogs

We understand the attractiveness of the Herefordshire countryside for walking with dogs and as pets, they are often just one of the family.

We welcome all breeds of dog at Thatch Close Cottages, as long as they are friendly, well behaved and ‘play well with others’. We are especially delighted to welcome Assistance Dogs, Guide dogs & Hearing Dogs at all our cottages and specifically at Valley View, which is accessible and so they can support their owner so you can all have a most enjoyable holiday in Herefordshire. Cider Cottage and Brambles Barn have have enclosed patio areas, a medium sized cage can be provided on request with our compliments.

Doggy Code

We are happy to provide potential guests with a copy of our Doggy Code prior to making a reservation, providing guests with guidance and general information to make the most of bringing your dog on holiday. For instance, Thatch Close Cottages do not keep livestock in our fields, which are fenced and hedged;. However sometimes our neighbours do have livestock in their fields, so please keep your dog on their lead if livestock are present. If in doubt, please ask.

Dog Friendly Places to Visit

There are main dog friendly places to visit and we are delighted to provide this information as part of your welcome pack when you arrive at all of our cottages.
